mi-Support achieves quadruple ISO accreditation

mi-Support has received ISO accreditation in Information Security – making it the only company in the industry to achieve quadruple certification.

The company’s newly awarded ISO27001 certification is in addition to existing accreditations in Quality, Environment and Health & Safety – all essential attributes for an organisation that provides the health industry with a suite of services to better manage and operate their medical practices.

“Following a rigorous twelve month process, we are thrilled to be able to add Information Security to our already impressive certification portfolio,” said David Camilleri, Executive General Manager at mi-Support.

“Medical reports are the lifeblood of mi-Support’s transcription business. Our clients have entrusted valuable and sensitive data to us, and it is our duty to make sure that information is protected. Our Information Security Management System provides a systematic approach to managing and reducing the risks associated with data security.

“The way we store, transmit and process our clients’ data matters – knowing we meet the stringent ISO27001 criteria is their peace of mind,” Mr Camilleri continued.

mi-Support – part of the MedHealth Group of Australian companies – adds its ISO27001 certification in Information Security to its ISO9001 certification in Quality, ISO14001 certification in Environment and ISO4801 certification in Health & Safety.

Mr Camilleri says the fact the company has now achieved quadruple certification doesn’t mean they will be resting on their laurels.

“Continuous improvement is part of our culture; every day we question whether there are ways we can improve further,” said Mr Camilleri.
